Roden Park will be a traditionally designed new country house which occupies a unique and remarkable position. Set in the heart of the Berkshire Downs with breath-taking views across open countryside. The property is set in a natural fold in the landscape and cannot be seen as you approach along the bridleway due to this rolling topography. The vast scenery not only offers extraordinary views but is a wonderful environment for all manner of wildlife.
Despite this rural location and it is surprisingly well placed for good access to the motorway network via the A34, which is only about 2 miles to the west at East Ilsley. Junction 13 of the M4 is only 9 miles to the south with the market town of Newbury further to the south. The City of Oxford with the culture, entertainment and educational facilities which it has to offer is only about 20 miles to the north and this gives access onto the M40.
Didcot is about 6 miles to the north, with the railway line having very recently been upgraded with new electric trains. This service accesses initially Reading and then subsequently London Paddington with a fast and frequent service or alternatively in the other direction to Swindon and the west of England.
As Roden Park is set in grounds of some 40 acres Helicopter is a transport option too.
