This house was situated in a particularly awkward position on the plot. We enhanced the property through renovation and (through creative design) by tripling the size of the property. Sherbourne Developments gutted the existing house and re-thatched the property using the local traditional long straw.

The new build blends with the original whilst providing contemporary living accommodation. The end result is an unusually large thatched cottage – 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 reception rooms, – with a bespoke handcrafted kitchen, a detached garage and office on a 1/3 acre plot.
